Refund Policy

This policy explains how returns, exchanges, and refunds work for purchases made from Mid Ridge Collective. Effective date: 23 September 2025.

1) Eligibility

  • To be eligible for a return, the item must be in the same condition you received it: unused, with tags, and in its original packaging (where applicable).
  • Proof of purchase (order confirmation or receipt) is required.

2) 14-day change-of-mind returns (distance selling)

  • You may cancel your purchase within 14 days of delivery for any reason (the “cooling-off” period), except for excluded items listed below.
  • You must notify us within 14 days and return items promptly (typically within a further 14 days).
  • Unless the item is faulty, return shipping costs are your responsibility. Use a trackable method.

3) Faulty, incorrect, or damaged items (30 days)

  • If an item arrives faulty, incorrect, or damaged, contact us within 30 days of delivery. We will repair, replace, or refund as appropriate.
  • We may request photos and, in some cases, a return for inspection. We cover reasonable return shipping for confirmed defects.

4) Non-returnable items and exceptions

  • Perishable goods or items with hygiene considerations once unsealed (e.g., certain kitchen consumables)
  • Made-to-order or personalized items
  • Gift cards and downloadable/digital products (see Digital goods below)
  • Items returned used, damaged, missing parts, or without original packaging (if applicable)

5) How to start a return

  1. Request authorization: Email [email protected] with your order number, item(s), reason, and photos if relevant. Please wait for a Return Authorization (RA#) and instructions.
  2. Pack securely: Include all accessories, manuals, and packaging. Write the RA# on the outer label.
  3. Ship with tracking: Unless we advise otherwise, you are responsible for return shipping on change-of-mind returns.

6) Refund method and timelines

  • After receiving and inspecting the return, we’ll notify you of the approval or rejection.
  • Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5–10 business days (your bank or card issuer may take longer).
  • Original shipping fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error or a confirmed defect.

7) Exchanges and gifts

  • Where stock permits, we can exchange like-for-like items. Otherwise, we will issue a refund.
  • Gifts: If marked as a gift at purchase and shipped directly to you, we can issue a gift credit upon approved return.

8) Digital and downloadable products

  • Digital items are typically non-refundable once access is granted or the download has begun.
  • If you encounter technical issues, contact us for support; we’ll make reasonable efforts to resolve access problems.

9) Your statutory rights

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under applicable consumer laws (e.g., UK Consumer Rights Act 2015 and Consumer Contracts Regulations).
